Run by Middlesbrough-based artist-led organisation Navigator North as a creative space, welcoming in residents and visitors to the town. Visitors to The Masham can see the work of visual artists, find out about local history and take part in arts and heritage talks, events and workshops.

A former pub, the building itself holds historic significance in Middlesbrough. Situated on a busy pedestrianised street in the centre of the town, it is a key feature on the high street thanks to its grade 2 listed frontage, distinct Kitching and Lee tiles and Bass triangle logos.
