An artist-led organisation, The Auxiliary creates and produces bold, brilliant art through innovative methods of collaboration with peer organisations, building a vibrant arts ecology for and with its artists and communities.

Based in a 11,000 sq ft warehouse, The Auxiliary concentrates on artist development, large scale exhibitions and community participation.

The Auxiliary will undergo a major refurbishment in May 2023, thanks to the DCMS Cultural Development Fund.

Note that the gallery is only open to the public during exhibitions.
