MOTHEROTHER is an inclusive and supportive collective for artists who are also caregivers. The term caregiver applies to the broad spectrum of parents, guardians and carers across our community.

MOTHEROTHER is for everyone aspiring to, or currently working within, or associated with the arts. Though the project’s focus is upon supporting existing caregivers, at some point in their lives, almost everyone will take on the role of caregiver — whether as a biological, foster or adoptive parent, or looking after parents, a partner, a family member or significant other.

Becoming a caregiver can have an impact in ways that cannot be predicted, with many finding that the system is seemingly rigged against them. It is for these people that  MOTHEROTHER exists.
