Baltic Open Submission (16 March – 1 September 2024) will showcase painting, sculpture, photography, video and more by artists, makers, self-taught creatives and hobbyists based in North East England, alongside several works by established artists.

This is the second open submission exhibition at Baltic. Artworks will be selected by a panel including Paul Smith, lead singer with North East-based band Maxïmo Park; artist Jasmina Cibic; and Niomi Fairweather and Rose McMurray, Curator and Curatorial Assistant at Baltic.

Applications are now open until 10am on Monday 27 November. This call out is free to enter and open to anyone based in the North East of England.
