'What are Words Worth?' profiles research that is centred around the operations and functions of language by asking the question: what are words worth to you?

The exhibition and associated events programme focus on projects and research where language is ‘performed’ or enacted, or practices in which text is mobilised in, and through, the process of the practice research.

Featuring work by David Bellingham, Jude Browning, Billy Clark, Jo Clement, Madelaine Culver, Charles Danby, Richard Denny, Sarah Gilligan, Hugo Glover, Lesley Guy, Craig Johnson, Kate ListonNaho Matsuda, Lesley McIntyre, Tom O’Sullivan, Sophie Seita, Speaking in Tongues, Cecilia Stenbom, Degna Stone, Corin Sworn, Nina Wakeford and Tony Williams.
