The Reading Room x Kate Sweeney

6.30 – 8.30pm

The NewBridge Project

A special reading session hosted by artist and writer Kate Sweeney in The NewBridge Project's Co-Work Space.

The Reading Room programme invites local artists and academics to host a reading session inspired by our collection of books from Pluto Press and Left Book Club. Artists will explore ways of using theory, ideas and reading within artistic practice. Come along to learn, listen and share ideas together.

Our first session is hosted by artist Kate Sweeney. Kate will be looking at the book Abolition Revolution by Aviah Sarah Day and Shanice Octavia McBean, published by Pluto Press: a ‘practical guide to revolutionary abolitionist politics in Britain.’

You do not have to have read the book to attend the session.
