Encounters: Kev Howard

11am, 1pm, 3pm

Captain Cook Square

Sonic Arts Week 2024

Musician Kev Howard's main instrument is the Aboriginal Didjeridu (Yidaki). He plays beat-driven, fast-paced rhythms which are syncopated to create energetic, multi-layered soundscapes — all created without the use of looping technology.

Howard has worked as a community musician throughout the UK since 2004, but also as a solo performer throughout the UK, Europe, America and Australia.
