David Bellingham and Jamie Warde-Aldam

5 – 6.30pm

Northumbria University

A conversation between artist David Bellingham and collector Jamie Warde-Aldam, hosted by the Contemporary Arts Research Forum at Northumbria University.

Drawing on examples of specific works of letterpress, concrete poetry, artist bookworks, multiples and invitation cards, the talk will celebrate the important work produced by British small presses from the 1960s to the present day — including, amongst others, Tarasque and Coracle (Stuart Mills, Simon Cutts and Erica Van Horn) and The Wild Hawthorn Press (Ian Hamilton Finlay) as well as drawing attention to individual pieces by Fiona Banner and Dom Sylvester Houédard.
