Sophie’s practice brings together things, objects, drawing, people, places, incidents, observations, in collections and montages of materials. Her work negotiates narratives within these relationships and experiments with ways of thinking around sharing, kindness, intimacy and gentle observation.     

She has worked with Fritha Jenkins, Holly Argent and Women Artists of North East Library, and TOTALLER, and made work in conversation with Giles Bailey, Catrin Huber and Alan Boxshall. Since 2017 Sophie has led on the production of ArtHouses, a project which develops unique situations to exhibit and experience artworks in Whitley Bay.
