We publish a printed art map for Newcastle & Gateshead. Produced for residents and visitors alike, the Newcastle & Gateshead Art Map features full mapping for visual arts organisations, alongside current listings for exhibitions. It is published every three months and distributed widely.

If you’re local, you can pick up maps in selected independent cafes, shops and cultural organisations across Newcastle, Gateshead and North Tyneside. If you can’t find a copy near you, or live elsewhere and would like a copy, get in touch and we’ll send one out to you.

Our website covers the whole region, but the printed map attracts audiences beyond its reach — including visitors to the North East.

Other maps
We also created a map for Middlesbrough and Redcar – the Boro Art Map – and published four editions between 2022-23 alongside its Tyneside counterpart. The map is currently on hold while we work with Middlesbrough Cultural Partnership to determine the best model for the future. You can download back issues below alongside those of the Newcastle & Gateshead Art Map.
